Bidding for Berkeley Theater
The silent auction was anything but quiet at the
Aurora Theatre Company's Aurora Borealis fundraising
gala in March at Scott's Seafood Restaurant. With
theater enthusiasts, writers and actors, would you
expect anything less? Supporters of the 15-year-old
Berkeley-based company happily mingled and bid
on items like Meyer Sound Speakers and a weeklong
stay in Umbria, Italy (put on the block by auctioneer
Narsai David), and likely left the same way they leave an Aurora performance: delighted.
